The Gleaming Scot by Barry is based in Crieff and provides domestic housekeeping and cleaning services that cover everything from cleaning, dusting, hoovering, polishing, taking bins out/in, shopping, walking the dog, caring for pets to cleaning, resetting and restocking fireplaces, stock management and basic outside care to include leaf blowing, sweeping and lawn mowing.

I love travelling, the outdoors, nature and wildlife. I am a Fifer by birth but lived all over the world and settled into the wonderful countryside of Perthshire.

I worked as a health professional within paediatrics for well over a decade before seeking a change of career.

I have worked on private estates and private homes as a Houseman, Housekeeper and Caretaker and now starting my own business, providing an excellent service to home and property owners.

I thrive on a challenge, using my keen eye for detail and delivering high standards to create that welcoming and gleaming home.

I am vetted through DBS and fully insured so you can relax in the knowledge that your home is in safe hands.

I aim to ease the pressures of life on households/estates by providing a variety of services to suit differing needs to an excellent standard.

I pride myself on: communication, working with clients, being reliable, professional and ultimately caring about your home or property.

I am open 7 days a week 0830-1800 and also cater for early morning and evening services.
